This represents a significant performance upgrade, so if you're thinking of getting the new iMac, it looks like it's worth it.
However, it should be taken into mind that the new iMac could be one of the last iMac computers to be equipped with Intel processors, because Apple will gradually stop using Intel processors in its computers and will instead use its own processors based on the ARM architecture.
