AnTuTu reveals the best performing processors on its platform in the first half of this year
Earlier this week, AnTuTu published a list of the 10 best performance smartphones in July on the platform. Now, AnTuTu platform has decided to reveal a new list of the 10 best smartphone processors for the first half of 2020. The results of these processors range between 249,151 points and 401,108 points.
The top three spots on the list are the Snapdragon 865, MediaTek Dimensity 1000 +, and Snapdragon 855 +. As you can see, MediaTek is the new competitor in the industry leader with the knowledge that the MediaTek Dimensity 1000 + processor includes an integrated 5G modem. The Snapdragon 865 processor should use the Snapdragon X55 separate modem to support 5G networks.
The next three places on the list were HiSilicon Kirin 990 5G, Snapdragon 855 and HiSilicon Kirin 990. All of these first six processors scored at least 300,000 points. The last four processors are MediaTek Dimensity 1000L, HiSilicon Kirin 980, HiSilicon Kirin 985 5G, and MediaTek Dimensity 820.
You might be wondering why Exynos processors aren't featured here. This is because this top ten list only includes local Android phones. The local market for AnTuTu is China, and Samsung's flagship smartphones aimed at China and North America use Snapdragon processors.
Qualcomm leads the performance race on the AnTuTu platform, and MediaTek is finally making an effort to catch up.
