Umidigi unveiled the Umidigi A7S, the first smartphone with a built-in thermometer, which is a contactless infrared thermometer that allows users to measure a person's temperature without physical contact.

The phone - which belongs to the low end category - comes with a shortcut button on the side of the phone that can be customized to run the thermometer app, or it can be used by clicking and talking.

The Umidigi A7S phone, which is running on the Android 10 Go operating system, has a MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor with a frequency of 1.25 GHz. It offers a random access memory (RAM) size of 2 GB, and internal storage memory of 32 GB, which is expandable by external memory cards (microSD).

The phone supports fourth generation networks only, and supports Bluetooth 4.0 technology, but does not support near-field communication NFC technology. The phone screen is a 6.53-inch LCD with 720p +. The front camera comes with 8 megapixels, and there is no fingerprint sensor.

The three 13-megapixel rear cameras come for the main one with an f / 1.8 lens slot, with an 8-megapixel resolution for the second for ultra-wide photography at an angle of 120 degrees, and a resolution of 2 megapixels for the third for depth of field.

The Umidigi A7S phone contains a 4,150 mAh battery, which is charged via the USB-C port of only 5 watts. There is a port for traditional earphones. The body of the phone, made of polycarbonate, comes in three colors: gray, blue, and green.

It is reported that the phone is available for initial order at $ 70, as of September 21. But after the initial order expires, the phone will return to its original price of $ 100. It can be ordered from the Chinese website AliExpress.
