Apple officially announces Apple Watch Series 6 and Apple Watch SE
Apple today, Tuesday, officially announced the sixth generation of its smartwatch Apple Watch, during the Time Flies event, which took place by default due to the ongoing pandemic of the emerging coronavirus COVID-19.
Apple CEO Tim Cook said during the event: The Apple Watch revolutionized in what watches can do, and then reviewed some of the capabilities of the smartwatch, as well as the stories of some people who suffer with various diseases, and how Apple Watch helped them overcome on it.
And Apple pointed to some of the software features of the Apple Watch that it announced previously, such as: improving the ability to monitor sleep, in addition to helping users to wash hands in a way that protects them from the Corona virus.
The Apple Watch Series 6 comes with new colors, as it comes with a blue, gold, and gray aluminum body with a stainless steel body.
In addition to Apple Watch Series 6, Apple announced a cheaper version of it called the Apple Watch SE, and it introduces advanced watch-like hardware, such as a large screen, new band, and the ability to connect to cellular. It also supports similar software features, such as: Family Setup.
Apple said: The Apple Watch SE will be available at a starting price of $ 279 for the GPS option, with the ability to subscribe to it for $ 12 a month for 24 months. The Apple Watch Series 6 will start at $ 399 for the GPS option. The watchs will be available starting next Friday.
