Google launches Android 11 .. This time it is not just for Pixel phones

Google announced today, Tuesday, the launch of the final and stable version of the Android operating system 11, after months of testing it.

The American technology giant said in a post on its blog: “Android 11 has arrived! The latest release is all about helping you get to what's important on your phone with easier ways to help you manage your conversations, connected devices, privacy, and much more". In honor of the eleventh version of Android, Google showed in its publication 11 features coming with the new system.

In Android 11, conversations will be moved from multiple messaging applications to a dedicated space in the notifications section, making it easy to manage conversations in one place. User can also prioritize conversations from important people so as not to miss any important message.

The system comes with the Bubbles feature, which Google says makes multitasking on the device easy. The user can now respond to important conversations without having to switch between what they are doing and the messaging app.

With Android 11, Google has integrated the (screen recording) feature in the system, so the user can now capture and share what is happening on the phone, in addition to recording with voice from the microphone or device, or both, all without the need for an additional application.

The user can now access all his smart devices in one place, by long pressing the power button  such as: thermostat or smart lock, can be controlled with one click, so that there is no need to open multiple applications.

In Android 11, Google has redesigned the media controls, and Android Auto now works wirelessly for all phones that run the new system as long as there is a compatible car.

One-time permissions will allow you to grant single use access to your most sensitive permissions: microphone, camera and location. The next time the app needs access to the sensors, it must ask you for your permission again

Google also said: “If you haven't used an app that you installed on your device in a while, you may not want it to keep accessing your data. Android will now “auto-reset” permissions for your unused apps and notify you accordingly. You can always decide to re-grant the app permissions the next time you use the app ”

Contrary to usual, Google said: Android 11 will be launched from today for its Pixel phones, in addition to select phones from companies such as: OnePlus, Xiaomi, Oppo, and Realme. The system will be launched for more devices in the coming months.
