Fitbit is looking to compete with Apple Watch by its new smartwatch Fitbit Sense

 

Apple Watch is one of the few feature-rich smart watches available in the market today, thanks to this smartwatch, Apple took more than 50 percent of the global smart watch market. However, Fitbit seems to be competing with it after it announced its latest smartwatch today, named Fitbit Sense.

Fitbit is known to the majority of consumers for its fitness accessories, but with the new Fitbit Sense, Fitbit has introduced a new set of health-related features to users. This includes the electrocardiogram feature that monitors the rhythm of the heartbeat to check the health of your heart.

There is also a built-in sensor that measures your body temperature to check for fever or changes in your temperature that may indicate other things such as the onset of a new menstrual period. There is also an EDA sensor that detects changes in the level of sweating in your skin, which according to Fitbit, can help users understand their stress which in turn may allow them to better manage stress if you know what is stressing you.
