MediaTek Dimensity 800U officially announced, supports Dual 5G SIM

 


 After unveiling of MediaTek Dimensity 800 and MediaTek Dimensity 820 processors, MediaTek has now officially decided to unveil the third member in its MediaTek Dimensity 800 Series processors, MediaTek Dimensity 800U.


 MediaTek Dimensity 800U is a low-priced, slightly modified version of the current MediaTek Dimensity 800 processor that includes a built-in 5G modem, supports the use of two SIM cards that support 5G networks, and includes high-frequency cores.  As you can expect, this new processor is in turn made using TSMC's 7nm technology and also comes with VoNR and 2CC 5G-CA features.


 The new MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor includes two Cortex-A76 cores with a frequency of 2.4GHz, and six Cortex-A55 cores at a frequency of 2.0GHz, bringing the total cores in this processor to eight cores, knowing that it also includes the Mali-G57 MC3 graphics processor, and supports UFS 2.2 storage memory  FullHD +, 120Hz rate.  Moreover, it also supports WiFi 5 and Bluetouth 5.1.

 This new processor from MediaTek also supports a 64MP main camera and the ability to shoot 4K videos at 30 frames per second.
