Samsung will remove the earphones and the charger in Galaxy S30 box

The latest reports published today confirmed that sAmSuNg is planning to remove the earphones and the charger from the contents of the box for the Galaxy S30 phones.

Similar to Apple's new strategy to remove some accessories from the box for the new iPhone 12 series, a new report published today indicated that Samsung will present the Galaxy S30 series with a cable for the charger only with a pin for the SIM slot.

The new report was published by ChosunBiz, which was based on details that came through sources familiar with Samsung's plans, while Apple moved to remove the charging adapter only from the content of the box for the new releases, but Samsung will also present the Galaxy S30 series without earphones in the box.

On the other hand, Samsung presented the Galaxy S20 series this year with a 25W charger unit in the content of the box with the USB-C AKG earphone, which is one of the features that will disappear in the coming versions.

Expectations indicate that Samsung wants to push users to buy the required accessories from the charger and earphones independently as an alternative to paying these accessories in the box content for free, and Samsung has recently started implementing this strategy by pushing users to buy a 45W charger independently for the Galaxy S20 Ultra.

On the other hand, the distinctive packaging box in a smaller size supports Samsung in reducing the shipping cost of new releases of its smartphones, similar to Apple.
