Huawei announces Huawei Y9a with quad camera

 

Huawei officially unveiled its latest smartphone called (Huawei Y9a), after the leak of many news about the design and main specifications of the phone last month.

The Huawei Y9a design revolves around a 6.63-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, with a screen-to-body ratio of 92 percent without any notch.

The device comes as a modified version of (Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus) that was recently launched in China, but unlike (Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus) - which supports the fifth generation networks through the processor (Dimensity 720) - this phone works with the processor (Helio G80) from MediaTek .

As is the case with other modern Huawei smartphones, this phone also lacks support for Google mobile services.

The user has to rely on (AppGallery) from Huawei to download applications, but it runs on Android 10 operating system user interface (EMUI 10.1).

The Huawei Y9a has 128 GB of expandable storage, and there are two RAM options - 6 GB and 8 GB.

The 8 GB version is only available in Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and some countries in Central Asia.

For photography, the Huawei Y9a comes with a quad-rear camera, with a 64-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with a 120-degree field of view, a 2-megapixel depth lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens.

In addition to the 16-megapixel front camera installed on the pop-up mechanism, the smartphone also comes with an electronic video stabilization feature, which helps in recording still videos.

Huawei provided the phone with a 4300 mAh battery with 22.5 watt fast charging support in global markets, while Africa, the Middle East and some countries in Central Asia get a 4200 mAh battery with 40W Huawei SuperCharge support.

   

Other features of the Huawei Y9a include a side-mounted fingerprint reader, a USB-C port and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

The smartphone comes in three color options: Space Silver, Sakura Pink and Midnight Black.

The phone is priced at $ 239 (200 euros) and will be available for initial order from September 12th.
