Google pulled the Google Maps application for the Apple Watch in 2017, but the latest post on its official blog in which Google announced the return of this application to Apple's smartwatch along with support for the Apple CarPlay Dashboard platform.
Google Maps will help your Apple Watch with transportation by car, bike, public transport, or on foot. The app will also save the estimated time of arrival and display step-by-step directions for destinations that you have already saved. The ones that are not saved must start from your phone, and you can then continue to get directions on your Apple Watch.

You can also quickly glance at calendar appointments without leaving the step-by-step navigation interface. All this information will be displayed in a split screen.
Google Maps will get support for Apple CarPlay Dashboard globally this week with the upcoming iOS update, while Maps for the Apple Watch will start spreading around the world in the coming weeks.
