Nokia officially confirmed its return to smartphones market in the next year

Here we are now with the official confirmation is supposed to end any doubts about this. In the event of Nokia Capital Markets Day 2016 which was held on November 15, the Finnish company provided that Nokia will return to the smart phone market in the next year.

It is worth mentioning that Nokia will not manufacture the smartphone itself, but will instead license its brand only for other companies including HMD Global, and this means that these devices will be called Nokia only while will oversee the process of developing, designing and manufacturing of these devices by other companies that will be licensed to use a Nokia brand.

Overall, Nokia will be within technology companies attending the 2017 Mobile World Congress MWC to be held in late February of next year, and there is a chance to see the first smartphones that will carry the brand of Nokia after the official return to the market in the event. Until then, we'll just wait and see what will happen in the end.
