Galaxy J5 gets Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update





Galaxy J5 was released almost a year ago, so many people thought it should be to get a major update, especially after all this time. But if you are one of owners of Samsung phones, you probably know that the South Korean company is not very good in terms of updates.

However, if you have an original Galaxy J5 you should be happy to know that Samsung has finally started this week released the update Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow for this phone. Based on reports, this update is currently available in the Netherlands, but it is assumed that up to more areas in the near future.

Marshmallow 6.0.1 brings with it the security update for the month of September, as well as many improvements to performance and stability. Generally, if you did not reach a notification for this update yet, you can check the availability of this update for your device manually by going to the Settings, and then search for system updates option.
