Huawei announces Watch GT2 Pro and FreeBuds Pro

 




Huawei announced during its developer conference its new smartwatch Huawei Watch GT2 Pro, and the wireless earphone Huawei FreeBuds Pro.

The smart watch comes in two models, the first is classic, the other is sports, and the wireless earphone supports adjustable active noise cancellation technology, with different profiles for listening.

The Watch GT2 Pro is the flagship smartwatch from the Chinese company, so it offers advanced features, such as sapphire glass, titanium case, and ceramic back. The watch band is made of rubber or leather.

The watch offers a 1.39-inch AMOLED touch screen with a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels, and there are buttons on both sides of the screen to control the clock. The watch comes with a built-in GPS, compass, audio playback, in addition to Bluetooth 5.1.



The Huawei watch - which weighs 52 grams, without the band, contains a Kirin A1 processor, with 32 MB of RAM, and 4 GB of internal storage.


Watch GT2 Pro provides tracking of more than 100 workout modes, including: premium swimming, skiing and snowboarding, in addition to golf. Hikers can also get a return function that can track the starting point of the walk. And there is a TruSeen 4.0 + feature for tracking your heart rate, plus sleep, stress and tracking blood oxygen.


Huawei says that the watch's battery is sufficient to work for 14 days of moderate use, 30 hours when GPS is on, and 24 hours when audio is played. Once the watch is charged for 5 minutes, it is able to work for 10 hours, and it supports wireless charging technology according to the Qi standard.


The price of Huawei Watch GT2 Pro starts at 329 euros for the Sport version, and at 349 euros for the classic version. Both versions will be available later this month.




As for the Huawei FreeBuds Pro, it is considered the best Huawei earphones, and it provides active noise cancellation, with dynamic profiles that can adjust noise cancellation levels depending on the environment.

The new buds from Huawei comes with 3 microphones, and there is a feature to improve the sound for calls. And you can control the buds by pressing on its stem or passing a finger on it. Its battery can work for 30 hours without the noise cancellation feature, or for 20 hours with activation.

Huawei FreeBuds Pro is available in three colors: black, white and silver, and will be available from next October at a price of 199 euros.
