When LG announced the new phone LG G5, it said it is the first Android phone made of metal.
The company repeated use of the term (metal body) in announcing its phone in the conference or in advertising materials. But according to JerryRigEverything channel on YouTube, which has opened the phone and scan component parts indicate that the phone has a large amount of plastic, and more importantly, the outer layer of the device is from plastic too.
In the video we see the interior panel already made of aluminum, but the outer cover is made of a thick layer of plastic attached to the internal structure of the metal, that is what the user actually touches is plastic, not metal.
