video calling may be coming soon to WhatsApp

German site leaked images of the new version of the application Whatsapp showing video calls that are tested within the company at this time.

The website said that the version currently available to all iPhone users within the App Store shop bearing the number 2:12:12, but the version that is currently tested between the members of the development team in Whatsapps bearing the number 2.12.16.2.

The photos show interface of video calls much like interface of other applications such as Facetime or Skype, where buttons appear to choose between the front or rear camera, with a live show of the image of the caller in miniature.

Do not yet know the official date for the launch of this feature or provide update number 2.12.16.2 that even if this is available, it may not allow the possibility of making video calls to all users at the same time, the company may launch this feature gradually.
