Apple has the right to ban sales of Samsung smartphones

In 2014, Judge Lucy Koh rejected a complaint that Apple asked Samsung to withdraw some rays of smartphone models because they used features that the Cupertino company held patents. The judge decided not to grant this request because it concerned only some elements of the devices.

Apple against attack and this time the court gives him reason and annuls the judgment of Judge Koh. However, Samsung smartphones will not be banned from sale in the US, but the South Korean manufacturer will modify its terminals by removing all elements whose patents owned by Apple.

This is a victory for Apple, at war against his South Korean rival for several years about patent violations. We bet that Samsung will not allow itself to do so easily.

What features are involved?

Samsung should remove its equipment features that are criminalized. These include the finger sliding function to unlock the device, the insertion of links in the telephone numbers, dates, etc. and automatic spell checking. According to the judgment favorable to the Cupertino company, all its functions will be eliminated Samsung smartphones sold in the United States.
