Google allows Android apps to run on the computer
Google announced a new update to the tool ARC or App Runtime for Chrome lets you run Android apps on all major operating systems: Windows, Linux, Mac, Chrome OS, and after that was confined Chrome system and a limited number of applications this feature.
The company was launched last year ARC tool which supports Chrome OS Chrome OS system only, and abundance for a limited number of developers, but now, Google tool occurred so that any user can, run almost any Android application, the computer has become easily.
All the user needs is a computer systems mentioned above, the browser chrome, and the application of the new Chrome launched company called ARC Welder which is the application that the task of converting Android apps to be worked on operating systems with computers for personal applications.
Supposed to be a tool ARC Welder private developers to work on test their applications before they are officially released to the desktop, but in fact, any user can use to run almost any application on your desktop tool, all the user needs is the application's APK file, and then import the file into the tool after open and run the application simply. Then the application is available in the list of applications for the operating system, like any normal application becomes.
We say that the user can run any application (almost), because some of Google Play services such as logging across + Google maps need to be activated by the developer, so the applications that depend on these services will not work until after the formal support from the developer. Some services, such as payment within the application is not supported yet in the ARC.
In fact, the idea of running Android applications on the desktop is a very bold idea from Google, we do not know what the company aims to reach. But while Microsoft's talking about the power of the Windows 10 system, which allows applications to run on different types of devices, we see that Google has already achieved that increased the ability to run Android applications on all major operating systems, not just in a single system. Some modification and improvement on future service Google possibility for developers to improve their applications may pose to work perfectly on computers, while the same application running without any major effort by the developer on all other devices such as telephones and computers tablet, and then will be the development of Android more attractive to developers.
What do you think of this feature?
