Take a look at Galaxy Z Fold 2 scratch and durability test

The Galaxy Z Fold 2 phone has finally been released, so it is now time for the famous Youtuber Zack Nelson from JerryRigEverything to conduct some durability tests on the second generation of the Samsung foldable phone.

The Galaxy Z Fold 2's external screen, which has a size of 6.23 inches, picks up scratches at the sixth level of the Mohs scale, just like any other smartphone available in the market today. As for the second 7.6-inch screen, it is so easy to scratch that the second level of the Mohs scale was enough to damage the phone. In fact, this screen is only scratched by the nail.

The sides, buttons, and hinge on the phone are all-metal components while the back has a solid glass design. It is interesting to find that the plastic screen survives under the burn test even after many attempts.

The last thing we have is the bending test. Bending the phone in the wrong direction even for a long time did not succeed in breaking the screen. And apparently, Samsung succeeded in knowing the weaknesses of the original Galaxy Fold and worked to fix them in the new Galaxy Z Fold 2 phone, and the tests presented in the video below confirm this, although there is still a need to develop the internal folding screen to make it more resistant for scratches.
