Apple is seeding updates of iOS 14.1, iPadOS 14.1, and tvOS 14.1

 

Apple has started rolling out 14.1 updates to iOS, iPadOS and tvOS that are arriving in time for the new iPhone 12 generation.

iOS 14.1 is supposed to be preinstalled on the new iPhone 12 phones, which is likely the reason why Apple did not offer developers betas, and instead sent iOS 14.2 betas directly.

There is no change in the new iOS and iPadOS updates and the rollout appears to be incremental, and Apple is expected to make it available to everyone in the coming hours.

The fourth and fifth generation of Apple TVs are getting a new update to tvOS 14.1 as well. There are no changes to that either.

If you own a compatible iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV, you should be able to update within hours.
