How to share songs from Apple Music to Instagram stories directly

 

Apple is keen to support its Apple Music streaming service with many new features all the time, providing you with a smooth and simple user experience, so Apple has completely updated the Apple Music application in the operating system iOS 14.

Among the most important new features that Apple added to the Apple Music application, are: The ability to share the songs you listen to in Instagram or Facebook stories directly from the application without the need for any external applications.

Here's how to share your favorite songs from Apple Music app directly to Instagram and Facebook stories:

You can share albums, artists, playlists, and individual songs from (Apple Music) application via mail and messages, all you have to do is open what you want to share, then click on the three horizontal dots icon and press the share option from the popup menu.

But if you want to share music to Instagram or Facebook stories - instead of just adding it as a link in status update - you need to stick to albums, playlists, or individual songs only, since you can't share artists in your stories.

First; How to share songs to Instagram stories directly:

• Go to the Apple Music application on your device.

• Play the song you want to share, then tap the three dots icon next to the artist and song name to display more options.

• Click on the Share option. A list of sharing options will appear for you. Look for the Instagram application icon, and if it does not appear to you, click on the (more) icon at the end of the sharing list.

• Once you click on the Instagram app icon, or Facebook in the sharing options menu, you will see a new page in the Instagram app showing the music you want to share with options to set.

• You can use the Instagram buttons at the top of the screen to add stickers, draw pictures, or insert text into your story, and you can also drag the song's image to shrink, rotate or move it across the screen.

• At the bottom of the screen choose to share this post via your story or with your close friends, or choose (Send To) if you want to send the song to specific people.

Secondly; How to add Instagram and Facebook to sharing options in the Apple Music app:

After clicking on the share option in the Apple Music application, you should be able to see the icons of the Instagram and Facebook applications within the sharing options, but if they are not present, you can customize your sharing options to show them, through the following steps:

• Open the song you want to share in the Apple Music app.

• Click on the three dots icon next to the artist and song name to display more options, then click on the Share option.

• Click on the (more) icon at the end of the options list, a list of all the applications that you can add to the sharing options will appear for you.

• Click on the option (Edit) in the upper-right corner to make changes.

• Scroll down to the Instagram app, then press the (+) button next to it to add it to the list, and the same is the case with the Facebook app.
