Sony launches the Xperia 8 Lite with dual camera

Sony today launched a new smartphone in Japan called Xperia 8 Lite. The interesting thing about this new phone is that it has the same structure and main technical specifications of the Xperia 10 phone that was launched in February of 2019, and the main difference between them lies in the main camera.

The new Xperia 8 Lite includes a 6-inch LCD screen with FullHD +, an eight-core Snapdragon 630 processor, 4GB of random memory, 64GB of internal memory expandable via MicroSD external memory, as well as a 2870mAh battery.

The new Xperia 8 Lite includes a 12-megapixel primary camera with a 1.8-megapixel lens, and an 8-megapixel second camera with a 2.4 lens. For comparison, the Xperia 10 came with a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel depth-sensing camera. Regardless of the cameras, the new Xperia 8 Lite also comes preinstalled with Google's Android 10 system, and with a fingerprint sensor on the side.

Generally, the phone Xperia 8 Lite is now available for pre-order in Japan for $ 280, noting that the process of shipping orders will begin on September 1.
