Apple asked Samsung to manufacture 100 million AMOLED screen, according to a new report

According to a new report issued recently by the Chinese Wall Street Journal, it seems that Apple asked Samsung to manufacture 100 million AMOLED screen.

This report is very interesting because, according to a report released last year, it has been suggested that both LG and Samsung will work to provide Apple screen of OLED, but this new report hints surely as if Samsung will be the exclusive supplier of AMOLED screens for Apple, or at least responsible for the largest share of requests. However, this is still just rumors are not confirmed yet.

There have been reports about the intention from Apple before moving to the use of OLED screens in the iPhone 7, which will be released this year, but it is safe to say that nothing seems soon, not to mention the fact that Apple tends to the introduction of new technology with the iPhone S series.

Take for example the fingerprint sensor Touch ID which first appeared with the iPhone 5S, along with the 3D Touch technology, which first appeared with the iPhone 6S. Anyway, that it is only a matter of time before we see more of the information.
