It comes in the form of an ultra-compact black case (11 x 15 cm) equipped with all the usual connectivity, two USB 3.0 ports, an SD slot, Ethernet port, HDMI 2.0 output, SPDIF and an output taken to DTT.
It comes with remote control and incorporates a WiFi chip and Bluetooth 4.0 chip. Processor side, there is a dual-core A15 chip clocked at 1.5 GHz with 2 GB of RAM back.
The box is able to read the content in 4K and may even manage H.265.
Free has not changed architecture. Mini 4K will be delivered with a Freebox Server box that will plug into your phone jack. It offers exactly the same functions as that of the Revolution. And even as connectivity, with eSATA port, two USB ports and four Gigabit Ethernet ports.
As the title of this article, the Freebox Mini 4K TV is powered by Android and thus provides full access to games and applications from the Play Store. It also gives pride to Google Cast and may therefore replace your Chromecast.
Free has worked on the interface and functionality. From the Home screen, the subscriber can access personalized recommendations, but also to the Freebox TV at Freebox Replay, Canal +, Canal Sat, its records and its applications.
Suffice it to connect with his Google account to retrieve all its content, download history, and any sound. With its Bluetooth chip, the Mini 4K can perfectly connect to a controller and thereby home console office.
