According to the latest statistics and figures issued by Counterpoint Research specializing in market research, it appears that Samsung was the best company in the smartphone market in the United States of America. The last time Samsung has surpassed Apple in the United States were 11 months ago, but thanks to the strong performance of the two phones Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, the Korean company has managed to regain first place again.
According to Counterpoint Research,, it seems that Samsung accounted for 28.8 percent of the smartphone market in the United States in March, while the market share for Apple only amounted to about 23 percent. This superiority is due to the strong performance of Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge and because of the weak demand on the phone iPhone SE in the United States of America.
LG got the third place with market share of 17.1 percent, approaching increasingly from Apple. It should be noted that the statistics of March do not include thesales of the phone LG G5.
Counterpoint Research report that Chinese manufacturers of smart phones do not enjoy strong sales in the US market.
